Today we looked at making a lock free memory allocator. The idea was to make something that is both thread safe and usable from with in the interrupt handlers. We've previously hacked together a lock free queue, and thought this would be pretty similar. It turns out this is much harder.

While we did not do something successful, I think it's important to share failures as well. This channel is about the process, not the final result :).
